RIP State Of Bengal (1965 – 2015)

I’m still processing the sad news that Sam Zaman aka State Of Bengal passed away. The man was an legendary musical influence on me, my friends, peers and family.

In 2007, Sam came over to my house to record an episode of the Shiva Soundsystem podcast. We talked and joked for hours which made the editing of the show really hard!

We got there in the end and his selection is second to none. Obviously. It’s also really nice hearing his voice again.

Soundcloud have pulled it so you can download it from here:
